Roles & Responsibilities
- Facilitates work between the Institute and organizations and serves as an interface to establish the best student-organization fit by arranging campus interviews.
- Assists students in developing an effective job search strategy by providing relevant information and resources.
- The Placement Committee facilitates prospective employers by organizing institute-industry interactions regularly.
- Provide complete support for arranging placement activities on the campus and recommending students for internship and placement.
- It organizes pre-placement training by way of group discussions, personal interviews and workshops on personality enrichment and communication skills
- Organising industrial tours for gaining practical knowledge of industries
- Gathering information about Job fairs and all relevant recruitment advertisements
- Coordinating with companies to learn about their recruitment procedures
- Identifying the needs and expectations of the companies to assist them in recruiting the most suitable candidates
Training & Placement Committee – Policy
1.Purpose:The Placement and Training Policy aims to provide a structured framework to facilitate the career development of students in the Pharmacy college, ensuring they acquire practical skills and secure employment opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry and Hospital.
2.Scope:This policy applies to all students enrolled in the Pharmacy programs at Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER), including undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
3.Objectives:
– To enhance students’ employability through practical training and placement opportunities.
– To foster partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and healthcare institutions.
– To support students in developing industry-relevant skills and competencies.
4.Placement Process:
4.1. Placement Cell:
A dedicated Placement Cell will be established to coordinate all placement activities. This cell will:
– Organise campus recruitment drives.
– Facilitate industry interactions and networking opportunities.
– Provide career counselling and guidance.
4.2. Industry Tie-ups:
The college will maintain relationships with pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and research institutions to ensure a steady flow of placement opportunities for students.
4.3. Student Registration:
Students must register with the Placement Cell to participate in placement activities. Registration will involve submitting a resume, academic transcripts, and other required documents.
The Training and Placement Cell of the Institution centrally handles all aspects of campus placements for the graduate and post graduate students of all the Departments. The Cell is well organised with eminent and experienced faculties for the job placement of our college students in highly reputed national and international pharmaceutical companies . The Training & Placement staff members assist in arranging Pre-Placement Talks, Written Tests, Group Discussions, and Interviews etc. are made as per the requirements of the Organizations.
4.4. Placement Activities:
– Pre-placement Training: Workshops and training sessions on resume writing, interview skills, and professional behaviour will be conducted.
– Campus Interviews: Companies will visit the campus to conduct interviews and select candidates.
– Job Offers: The Placement Cell will communicate job offers to students and assist in the acceptance process.
5.Training Program:
5.1. Industrial Training:
– Internships: Students are required to complete internships with pharmaceutical companies or healthcare institutions as part of their curriculum.
– Practical Experience: The college will ensure that training programs provide hands-on experience in drug formulation, quality control, and patient care.
5.2. Training Partnerships:
– The college will collaborate with industry experts to design and implement training programs that align with current industry standards and practices.
5.3. Evaluation:
– Students’ performance during industrial training will be evaluated based on feedback from the host organisation and their adherence to the training objectives.
6.Responsibilities:

– Ensure the effective implementation of this policy.
– Allocate resources for placement and training activities.
– Regularly review and update the policy as needed.
6.2. Placement Cell:
– Manage all placement-related activities.
– Develop and maintain relationships with potential employers.
– Provide support and guidance to students.
6.3. Students:
– Actively participate in placement and training activities.
– Adhere to the guidelines and requirements set forth by the Placement Cell.
– Provide feedback on training and placement experiences.
7.Review and Amendment:
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in industry requirements and educational standards.

- Arranging MOCK sessions for enhancing the communication skills, group discussion techniques, and written test which are the screening methods used by the organizations these days.
- Developing a strong bond between industry and students by keeping up to the expectations of both.
- Arranging guest lectures by eminent personalities from the industry so at to emphasis the ever changing need of the industry and how to make one ready for it.
- Continuous updating the database for meeting the different requirements from the organizations and to make students chose the best possible company and remunerations.
- Updating various departments about the requirements of the industry so as to enable them to get the students ready for the external world.

At 2050 Healthcare have established a strong network of 15+ branches in key cities across India, with a patient base of over 5000+ and offer more than 15 specialised services.
Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education & Research (ABIPER), Yelahanka, Bangalore organized Campus drive by 2050 Healthcare for final year Pharmacy students on 11 November 2023 at college campus. Fifty students attended campus interview and twenty students got selected in campus recruitment.

Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education & Research (ABIPER) in association with IPA, Bangalore (Urban) Local Branch organized a seminar on Career Guidance and Job Opportunities for Healthcare Professionals on 1st March 2024 at ABIPER Seminar Hall. Resource Person, Dr.Shabiya Ranjit, started the session by giving an introduction about job opportunities in the public and private sectors, entrepreneurship development, creative thinking, and confidence building. Around 89 participants comprising students of different UG & PG programs along with the faculty members attended the seminar, and all the queries put forward by the audience were categorically addressed by the speaker. The audience found it was very informative and quite relevant to their subjects. The seminar was concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. B.A. Vishwanath, Chairman, Aditya Group of Institution.
