Wishes and Hearty Congratulations

Happy to share you all that in the RGUHS State Level Football Selection Trials (Men)  was organized by  Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Sciences(RGUHS), Karnataka in association with the Oxford Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre (Children’s Education Society), Bangalore on 28^th December 2021.

9 Students (8 Pharmacy students and 1 Nursing Student) have been selected from Aditya Institutions into the team of 18 Players.

Annual Sports Meet 2021-22

Annual Sports Meet 2021-2022 was organized by Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER) from 6^th to 7^th May 2022 with great passion and enthusiasm Dr. B.A. Viswanath, Chairman, Aditya Group of Institutions, graced the occasion. In his address, Dr. B.A. Viswanath advised the participants to focus on the game and encouraged them to strive and take their game to a high level so that they could compete in state, national and international championships. Dr. B.A. Viswanath conveyed his best wishes to all the participants. Many events were conducted for students of ABIPER. The events held for the students were badminton, kabaddi, cricket, basket ball, foot ball, volley ball, throw ball, shot put, discus throw, racing, relay races and tug of war. Once the events began the air was filled with cheering and encouragement for the participants. The winners of events were awarded medals and certificates.

RGUHS State Level Kabaddi Tournament (Men & women) was organized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka in association with the SDM College of Naturopathy & Yogic Science Belthangady, Dakshina Kannada, Ujire, Karnataka from 11^th  to 13 ^th May 2022 .Several teams from various colleges in Karnataka participated in RGUHS State Level Kabaddi Tournament. In a thrilling final match, Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER), Yelahanka, Bangalore, emerged the Runners up of the prestigious RGUHS State Level Kabaddi Tournament.

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore Zone Kabaddi Tournament was hosted by the Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education & Research (ABIPER) on 20 ^th to 21^st August 2022.Several teams from various colleges in Karnataka participated in Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore Zone Kabaddi Tournament.

In a thrilling final match, Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER),Yelahanka, Bangalore, emerged the winners of the prestigious RGUHS,Bangalore Zone Kabaddi Tournament. Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI) was the runners -up.

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Inter Zone Kabaddi Tournament was hosted by Dr. BNM Ayurveda Medical College,Bijapur on 11^th October 2022. Several teams from various colleges in Karnataka participated inRGUHS, Inter Zone Kabaddi Tournament.

In a thrilling final match, Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER),Yelahanka, Bangalore, emerged the winners of the prestigious RGUHS,Inter Zone Kabaddi Tournament and they are the RGUHS kabbadi champions for 2021-2022 . Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences, Gadag was the runners -up.

RGUHS Interzone Men and Women Badminton Tournament and Selection Trials 2023-24

Aditya Group of Institution-Aditya College of Physiotherapy (AGI-ACOP) in association with RGUHS organized the RGUHS Interzone Men and Women Badminton Tournament and Selection Trials on 15^th September 2023.

RGUHS State Level Table Tennis Men & Women Tournament 2023-2024

Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education & Research (ABIPER) has hosted the State Level Men & Women Table Tennis Tournament 2024 organized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka from 22^nd to 23^rd June 2024. Ms. Anjana Rao, the National Table tennis champion has graced the inaugural program as Chief Guest and declared the tournament open. The chairman, Principal, and Administrative Officer of Aditya BIPER along with the University-appointed Observer Mr. Harish from RR Group of Institutions has graced the occasion. Physical Director of ABIPER, Mr. Shantha Raju has detailed game instructions to the players. 20 Men’s Teams and 13 Women’s Teams have participated in the tournament.

State Level Basketball M/W Tournament  2023-2024

Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education & Research (ABIPER) has hosted State Level M/W Basket Ball Tournament 2024 organized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka from 13th to 15th July 2024. Inaugural program happened on 13^th July 2024 for which Dr. B. Vasanth Shetty, Deputy Registrar, RGUHS graced as the Chief Guest while Mr. Sanjay Raj, International Basket Ball Player, and Eklavya Award winner has accepted the invitation and graced as the Guest of Honour. The Principal and Administrative Officer of Aditya BIPER and Director, Aditya architecture college along with the University appointed Observers Mr. Mahesh C P, PED, College of Dental Sciences, Davangere and Mr. Satya raj, Deputy Dean, DYES academy attended the inaugural function.  Chief Guest and Guest of Honor addressed the gathering and mentioned about significance of sports and its relation to health and fitness and wished all players and good play in the next 3 days. Physical Director of ABIPER Mr. Shantha Raju has detailed on game instructions to the players.

About 30 Men’s Teams and 10 Women’s Teams have participated in the tournament and the winners of the tournament were:

RGUHS Bengaluru North Zone Kabaddi Men Tournament 2024-25

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bengaluru North Zone Kabaddi Tournament was hosted by the Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education & Research (ABIPER) on 30 ^th to 31^st August 2024. 23 teams and 270 players from various colleges in Karnataka participated in Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru North Zone Kabaddi Tournament.

In a thrilling final match, Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER), Yelahanka, Bangalore, emerged the winners of the prestigious RGUHS, Bengaluru North Zone Kabaddi Tournament. Sridevi College of Physiotherapy, Tumkur was the runners -up.

RGUHS Bengaluru North Zone Intercollegiate Volleyball Tournament was organized by   Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka in association with Dr. BR Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore from 24-09-24 to 25 -09- 2024.

In a thrilling final match, Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER), Yelahanka, Bangalore, emerged the Runners up of the prestigious RGUHS Bengaluru North Zone Intercollegiate Volleyball Tournament 2024-2025.

22^nd RGUHS Annual Intercollegiate Athletic Meet

Congratulations to our sixth-semester student, Mr. Giridhar Gowda, on securing first place in the 100-meter hurdles and second place in the 800-meter men’s run at the 22^nd RGUHS Annual Intercollegiate Athletic Meet.

His exceptional performance on the track is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and athleticism.Giridhar’s victory is not just a personal achievement, but also an inspiration to all athletes who strive for excellence. The precision, agility, and focus required for the 110 m hurdles event make it one of the most challenging disciplines in athletics. Giridhar’s triumph clearly reflects his discipline and relentless training, and he has certainly set a high standard for others to follow.

We are incredibly proud of his accomplishment and wish him continued success in all future athletic endeavours.
