Highlighted the international reach of Brahma Kumaris—established in 1936 as a spiritual and social NGO, now serving across 140 countries with over 9,000 Raja Yoga centres.
Shared the organization’s core focus on free education and digital platforms that help individuals reconnect, rediscover, restore, and revise their true inner potential.
Introduced practical Raja Yoga meditation and the “Just a Minute” pause technique to help educators stay centered amidst daily complexities.
2. Core Address: “Valuing the Values”
Resource Person: Rajayogini BK Sister Kala (Brahma Kumari Admin)
Defined “Values” as the underlying criteria, guidelines, and principles required for any system to function seamlessly.
Emphasized that without defined values and structure, organizations and personal lives face chaos and operational collapse.
Highlighted the need to rebuild family values and personal routines, illustrating how managing large groups or institutions requires the same patience and structure as managing a family.
Encouraged participants to define their life’s primary objective: living peacefully, happily, and healthily starting from controlled, positive thinking.3. Mind Control & Practical Meditation

Discussed practical ways to catch and reframe negative or disturbing thoughts when they arise.
Introduced the D.E.A.R. Method for instant mental relaxation:

Conducted a live guided meditation and breathing exercise, giving attendees hands-on experience in generating positive mental energy.
Conclusion
The session successfully inspired the faculty and staff of ABIPER to integrate practical values and mindfulness techniques into their daily routines. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, a photo session, and a vote of thanks dedicated to the resource persons, patrons, and organizational coordinators.

National Conference on “STEERING PHARMACY EDUCATION AND AI FOR ADVANCED RESEARCH AND INNOVATION”, organized by ADITYA BANGALORE INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY EDUCATION AND RESEARCH (ABIPER), in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka State Pharmacy Council (KSPC), and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), was conducted successfully with enthusiastic participation from academicians, researchers, industry professionals, and students.
The scientific programme comprised four technical sessions delivered by Dr. Pradeep R. Vavia, Dr. Nitin M., Dr. Ravi S. Talluri, and Dr. Jitesh Iyer, focusing on advanced drug delivery systems, preclinical pharmacology, PBPK modelling, and clinical biomarkers in precision medicine. The sessions were chaired by Dr. Kusum Devi, Dr. Shivakumar Swamy, Dr. Ashok Malpani, and Dr. Nitin Mahurkar, with Dr. Sowjanya Battu, Dr. Venkatesha A. Venkata Subbaiah, Dr. Manjunatha P. Mudgal, and Dr. Sowjanya Battu serving as Co-chairpersons. The programme concluded with interactive discussions, felicitation of the speakers, and Poster and Oral Presentation competitions, providing participants with a valuable platform to present their research and exchange scientific ideas.
The conference concluded with a few cultural programmes, including a special Indian Santoor performance by Mr. B.V. Aditya, followed by the Valedictory Function. The programme was graced by Dr. B.A. Vishwanath, Founder Chairman, Aditya Group of Institutions; Chief Guest Mr. Suresh Kempaiah, Deputy Drug Controller, Government of Karnataka; Mr. B.V. Aditya, Vice-Chairman, Aditya Group of Institutions; Dr. B.G. Sivananda, CEO, Aditya Group of Institutions; Mr. Ganesh Babu K.N., Chief Administrative Officer, Aditya Group of Institutions; and Dr. Sowjanya Battu, Vice-Principal, ABIPER. The function commenced with the welcome of the dignitaries, presentation of saplings, invocation, and the traditional lighting of the lamp.
In his address, Mr. B.V. Aditya emphasized the ethical and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in education and research. Chief Guest Mr. Suresh Kempaiah highlighted the role of AI in accelerating drug discovery while stressing the importance of transparency, data integrity, scientific validation, and human oversight in regulatory decision-making. Dr. Manasa Rekha, Head, Department of Pharmacy Practice, spoke on the visionary leadership of Dr. B.A. Vishwanath in promoting AI-driven education, research collaborations, and innovation, while Mr. Ganesh Babu K.N. shared his perspectives on the growing impact of AI in healthcare and education.
The dignitaries were felicitated, followed by the prize distribution for the Oral and Poster Presentation competitions. Mr. Amalin Pradhan (HSK College of Pharmacy, Bagalkot) received the First Prize (₹10,000), Ms. Kuruba Nerosha (TVM College of Pharmacy) secured the Second Prize (₹5,000), and Mr. Veladi Manideep (CMR College of Pharmacy), Ms. Kavya Sree and Ms. Madhu Sree from ABIPER received the Third Prize (₹2,000).
The conference concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Sowjanya Battu, followed by the National Anthem and a group photograph, marking the successful completion of the two-day National Conference.

Aditya Group of Institutions, Yelahanka, celebrated Founder’s Day and Guru Vandana with great enthusiasm, paying heartfelt tribute to the invaluable role of teachers in shaping society and nurturing future generations.
Addressing the gathering, National Award-winning teacher Mr. B. V. Nagaraj said that only a dedicated and inspiring teacher can bring about meaningful transformation in society. He congratulated Dr. Vishwanath for organizing the unique programme and appreciated his commitment to recognising the contributions of teachers.
The distinguished guests and mentors of Dr. Vishwanath-Prof. Dr. T. Rajagopalan, Dr. Srinivasan, and Dr. M. D. Karvekar-highlighted the importance of values, ethics, and humanity in education. They encouraged students to pursue knowledge with discipline, integrity, and a spirit of service, thereby contributing meaningfully to nation-building.
As part of the celebrations, the Founder was felicitated, and teachers were honoured for their dedicated service in the field of education. Colourful cultural performances by students added vibrancy to the event and received wide appreciation from the audience.
The programme was attended by members of the institution’s management, principals, teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, alumni, and a large number of students, making the celebration a memorable occasion.
On the occasion, the Founder and Chairman, Dr. B. Vishwanath, honoured his own school teacher-Mr. B. V. Nagaraj, Dr. N. S. Satyanarayana, and Mr. Manjunath-as a mark of gratitude and respect for their guidance and lifelong contribution to his journey.

As part of the Founder’s Day Celebration 2026 and under the “Do Good Day Initiative,” Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER) in association with Aditya College of Allied Health Science successfully organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Kidwai Hospitals on 29th June 2026 (Monday) at 10:00 AM onwards on the ABIPER Campus, Yelahanka, Bengaluru.
The event was organized with the objective of promoting voluntary blood donation, creating awareness about the importance of blood donation, and encouraging students and staff to contribute towards saving lives. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, non-teaching staff, students, and volunteers, who came forward to donate blood as a humanitarian service.
A team of experienced doctors, nurses, and technical staff from Kidwai Hospitals conducted the blood donation drive by following all standard medical protocols and safety measures. Prior to donation, every donor underwent a health screening, including blood pressure, hemoglobin level, weight, and general health assessment to ensure eligibility for blood donation. The entire process was carried out in a hygienic and well-organized environment.
The program also served as an awareness initiative, highlighting the significance of voluntary blood donation in saving accident victims, supporting cancer patients, assisting during surgeries, providing maternal emergency care, and treating critically ill patients. Participants were educated about the benefits of regular blood donation and the positive impact it has on society.
The management of ABIPER appreciated the generous contribution of all blood donors and acknowledged the support extended by the medical team from Kidwai Hospitals. The event concluded successfully with the distribution of donor certificates, refreshments, and words of appreciation to all participants.
The Blood Donation Camp reflected ABIPER’s commitment to social responsibility and community service, reinforcing the message:
“Donate Blood, Save Lives – Be a Hero. Donate Blood.”
The initiative strengthened the spirit of compassion, kindness, and service among students and staff, making the Founder’s Day Celebration 2026 a memorable and meaningful occasion.

Overview of the Programme
As part of the Do-Good Day Initiative during the Founder’s Day Celebrations 2026, the Department of Pharmacy Practice, from pharmacy stream in collaboration with the NSS Unit of ABIPER and associated with Sparsh Hospital, successfully organized a Free Medical Health Checkup Camp on 30th June 2026 at Aditya Group of Institutions, Yelahanka.
The camp was organized with the objective of promoting preventive healthcare, encouraging early disease detection, and creating awareness regarding healthy lifestyles among students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community.
The medical camp provided comprehensive health screening services, including General Health Checkup, Eye Screening, and Dental Checkup, along with health counselling by experienced healthcare professionals from Sparsh Hospital.
The programme also provided valuable practical exposure for Pharm.D Interns in community healthcare services and multidisciplinary patient care.

Overview of Day 1-28th June 2026 (Sunday)
As part of the National Immunization Day (NID) – Pulse Polio Programme, the Department of Pharmacy Practice in collaboration with the NSS Unit of ABIPER actively participated in the Government of India’s nationwide initiative conducted from 28th June to 1st July 2026 at Urban Primary Health Center (UPHC), Thindlu, Bangalore.
The programme aimed to eradicate poliomyelitis by ensuring that every child below five years of age received the oral polio vaccine. The event promoted community awareness, preventive healthcare, and student participation in public health services while strengthening India’s commitment towards a Polio-Free Nation.
Objectives of the Programme
• To support the Government of India’s National Immunization Day (NID) campaign.
• To ensure maximum immunization coverage among children below five years of age.
• To create awareness regarding the importance of routine immunization.
• To provide Pharm.D students with practical exposure to National public health programmes.
• To encourage teamwork, leadership, communication, and community engagement among students.
• To contribute towards the goal of a completely Polio-Free India.
