Eligibility:

* Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics / Computer Science / Biotechnology / Biology. Obtained at least 40% marks (35% in case of candi date belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
* Candidates who have passed D.Pharm course approved by Pharmacy Council of India shall also be eligible to this course and shall be admitted directly to II Year.

Duration:

* The course of study for B.Pharm shall extend over a period of four academic years and three academic years for those admitted to II year directly.

Industrial Tour and Training:

* Every candidate shall undergo practical training in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing House/ Approved Hospital/CSIR research labs for a period of not less than one hundred and fifty hours to be covered in not less than 45 days after completing III year or IV year. Candidate should submit two copies of the training report duly certificated by the authorities of the training centre in which he/she has undergone training duly accepted and certified by t he Head of the Department. Candidates studying in final year of the course shall visit several pharmaceutical manufacturing houses as a supplement to their academic training and submit a report to the satisfaction of the Head of department where he/she has studied.

Attendance:

* A minimum of 80% in both theory and practical classes separately is essential to get eligibility for sessional and university exam. Class test & viva: Regular class t est and viva of all subjects will be conducted in the college for the maximum marks of 20 and all the students must get min. of 16 in all subjects and marks to be entered in class test report (CTR).

Internal Assessment marks:

* During each academic year three sessional exams for theory paper will be conducted for maximum marks of 20 and average of best two exams will be considered. For practical papers internal assessment marks for maximum marks of 20 will be awarded considering the student’s regularity, manipulative skill, viva-Voce during regular practical classes.

Examination:

* At the end of each year there will be exams to be conducted by the university during Sept/Oct. for theory and practical subjects (Annual Exam) and after a gap of 6 months another exam (Supplementary Exam) during April/May. The students who secured a minimum of 50 % in university theory and practical exam separately and 50% in aggregate including internal assessment marks, will be declared pass.

Condition for Promotion to next higher class:

* Among seven subjects prescribed for B. Pharm course there will a college exam for Mathematics/Biology & Computer Science and students must secure 35% marks to get eligibility for university exam. The students having passed at least in 3 subjects out of 5 subjects in the Annual exam will be promoted to next higher class.
