Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education & Research (ABIPER) organized an alumni reunion- Aditya Milan 2026 on August 08, 2026 in their auditorium aimed at strengthening the bond between the institution and its alumni and to relive their memories.
The formal program commenced by welcoming the dignitaries on the dais viz., Dr. B. A> Vishwanath, our beloved chairman and Principal, ABIPER; Dr. M. Karvekar, Member, Governing Council, ABIPER; Dr. Sowjanya Battu, Vice Principal, ABIPER; Mrs. Malini Shetty, Administrative Officer, AGI, Dr. Bharathi Muninarayanappa, Director, Aditya college of Nursing, Mr. Mohan, a student alumni president. The inaugural ceremony included Naada Geethe, followed by Vande Mataram, ceremonial lamp lighting, and an invocation song.
Dr. Sowjanya Battu, Vice-Principal, ABIPER, delivered the Welcome Address, emphasizing that alumni are an integral part of the institution and that Aditya Milan serves as a platform for reconnecting, strengthening professional relationships, and inspiring the younger generation through alumni experiences. Dr. Karvekar M, inspired the gathering by emphasizing the importance of adaptability, continuous learning, and mutual support in achieving professional success. He encouraged alumni and students to embrace challenges with confidence and remain connected with the institution. Mr. Mohan, a student alumni president, reflected on the role that ABIPER played in shaping students’ careers and encouraged alumni to remain connected with their alma mater. Mr. Suhas, alumnus, shared nostalgic memories of campus life and highlighted how the values, guidance, and friendships developed at ABIPER continue to influence their professional journeys and also shared his experiences on how chairman motivated them academics and extra-curricular activities as well.
The programme included the presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Award for about 11 Alumni and 02 special distinguished alumni awards who excelled in the areas of research, academics, clinical, CROs, Entrepreneurship etc.
Dr. B. A. Vishwanath, Chairman, reflected on the remarkable journey and growth of the institution, highlighting its achievements in academics, research, and innovation. He emphasized the importance of adaptability and a strong sense of responsibility for achieving sustained personal and professional growth. He also expressed that meeting the alumni was like a family gathering and wished them continued success and progress to greater heights in life. He motivated the audience by sharing his four secret principles of success—Planning, Practice, Patience, and Perseverance (4 Ps), encouraging everyone to pursue excellence with dedication and resilience.
This was followed by the felicitation to Dr. Karvekar, GC Member and Mr. Mohan, Alumni Association President, in recognition of their valuable presence and contributions to the institution and the team of ABIPER felicitated Chairman for all his support and encouragement throughout each and every aspect of college growth and existence.
Dr. Padmasree, Faculty Coordinator of Alumni Association, ABIPER proposed the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, alumni, faculty members, students, and organizers for making the event a grand success. The formal ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
After national anthem, there were batch-wise photographs and group photographs, distribution of return gifts, video messages from alumni residing abroad etc. Later, continued with a special delicious lunch and cultural activities and games simultaneously. The post lunch activities included the cultural performances by existing students and alumni and recreational games, with prizes presented to the winners.
The event also had an excitement of Photobooth with instant photo generation team to take back the cherished memories lived in Alumni event. The programme concluded on a memorable note, successfully fulfilling its theme of “Reconnect • Rejoice • Relive” while strengthening the lifelong relationship between ABIPER and its alumni community.
