Annual Sports Meet 2017-18 was organized by Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research on 20^th April 2018. Dr.P.C.Krishnaswamy, Chairman, Physical Education Department, Bangalore University, Bangalore was the chief guest of the programme. The chief guest’s inspirational speech motivated the students.Athletic events & other tournaments were conducted on the same day.

The World Liver Day (WLD) is observed every year on April 19 to build awareness and understanding importance of liver in human body and how liver ailments can be treated. As per World Health Organization (WHO), liver diseases are 10th most common cause of death in India. The 2018 theme for WLD is “Riding New Waves in Liver Diagnosis, Staging & Treatment”.

Farewell day was organized for outgoing students on 10 ^th April 2018 by Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research.Farewell day was arranged in a grand manner with games, personality contest and various cultural & other activities. Senior students of our Institute were presented mementoes & gifts on behalf of ABIPER.Seniors shared their happy moments of ABIPER. Self-Injury Awareness Day (SIAD) is an international awareness day that takes place every year on March 1 and is a day meant for learning about self-injury behaviors and for providing resources to those who are in need of help. An orange ribbon, representing a sign of hope for a misunderstood problem, symbolizes this awareness day. According to the Statistical and Diagnostic Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5), self-harm is formally known as nonsuicidal self-injury disorder (NSSID) as these self-destructive behaviors are carried out without any intention of suicide. Adolescents are at the highest risk for self-harm injury as many studies state that roughly 15% of teenagers and 17-35% of college students have inflicted self-harmful behaviors on themselves. Cutting, skin carving, self-medication, extreme scratching, or burning oneself as well punching or hitting walls to induce pain are examples of self injurious behavior.

Pharm D internship students of ABIPER conducted Counselling Programme on 22nd February 2018 for students of M.P.U. School,Kokkiliputtuga, Srikakulam, AP,regarding maintaince of personal hygiene,self discipline and prevention of some diseases like measles,mumps,typhoid and malaria.

“The biggest service to the society is the service of the mankind”. To do so, Pharm D internship students of Aditya BIPER collaborated with Balaji hospital, Kokkiliputtuga, Srikakulam (Dist), AP to celebrate the spirit of service by organizing health check up camp in the Kokkiliputtuga village on 21st February 2018. This camp comprises of Anemia, Hypertension and Diabetes checkups.

Industrial visit has its own importance in a career of a student who is pursuing a professional degree. As part of the curriculum of B.Pharm final year students, industrial visit is mandatory, so as to provide with them the real insight of working procedure of pharmaceutical industry.Final Year B.Pharm students of Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research with staff (Dr.N.Venkatesan&Mrs.Bharthi) visited Blue Cross Laboratories Private Ltd & Cipla Pharmaceutical Ltd Goa on 22nd March 2018 to re-equip the working procedure and the current industrial knowledge.
