World Tuberculosis Day 2018

World Tuberculosis Day is celebrated every year by the people all across the world at International level on 24th of March. It is celebrated to raise the common public awareness about the epidemic disease of tuberculosis as well as get their efforts in order to totally eradicate this disease. Dr. Robert Koch in the year 1882 and amazingly announced by him to the small group of scientists at the “University of Berlin’s Institute of Hygiene” about the cause of tuberculosis. World Tuberculosis Day was celebrated in a grand manner at Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research in the college premises.
The theme of World TB Day 2018 – Wanted: “Leaders for a TB-free world”.

National Seminar on Quality by Design (QbD) @ ABIPER

Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education & Research has a cadre of Professionals having International skills in teaching and research. Since inception in 1998, it has moved steadily towards the fulfillment of its mission and emerged as significant player in Pharmacy Education.
One day national seminar on Quality by Design-“QbD” was organized by Department of Pharmaceutics, ABIPER on 10th February 2018 at our College Auditorium and Sponsored by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
The Seminar enriches participants about recent advances and emerging technologies in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Hence, in this national seminar, ABIPER invited eminent personalities from leading academic Institutes and Pharma Industries who presented their expert views and interacted with the delegates. The scientific sessions was designed to promote expert deliberation on recent developments in QbD and PAT in pharmaceutical industry. Also, detailed information conveyed on design effort from product conception through commercialization and gives complete understanding of how product attributes and process are related to the product performance.QbD-seminarSpeakers

International Women’s Day 2018

International Women’s Day is celebrated annually to acknowledge the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women across the globe.Women’s Day were first observed on February 28, 1909 in New York. At 1910 International Women’s Conference, March 8 was suggested to be observed as International Women’s Day. The day was then predominantly celebrated by the socialist movement and communist countries until it was adopted in 1975 by the United Nations. ABIPER celebrated International Women’s day 2018 in a grand manner on 8th March at the college premises.
International Women’s Day 2018 theme was “Time is now: Rural and urban activists transforming wome’s lives”.

National Science Day 2018

National Science Day is celebrated in India on 28th February each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir Chandrasekhar Venkata Raman on 28th  February 1928. The basic objective of Science Day is to spread the message of importance of science and its application among the people. ABIPER students demonstrated various science projects as well as their latest researches. The celebration also includes public speech, science exhibition based on themes and concepts, debates, quiz competitions, painting, lectures, science models exhibitions and many more activities.

Theme of National Science Day 2018 was Science and Technology for Sustainable Future”.

Blood Donation Camp 2018

Blood Donation Camp was conducted on 27 th February 2018 at Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research in coordination with Swamy Vivekananda Voluntary Blood Bank. In the camp many of our college students and staff members donated blood. Blood was collected from donor by Medical team of Swamy Vivekananda Voluntary Blood Bank with the help of our NSS students. We created the awareness about Blood Donation to the nearby village peoples.

World NGO Day 2018

It is said that the World NGO Day initiative was created by a university student, Marcis Liors Skadmanis, who first thought of the initial idea during his Masters in International Law and NGO legislation. The NGO Day provides an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the successes of the sector and focus for new and emergent ideas.

World NGO Day was celebrated on 27th February 2018 in a grand manner at Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research in the college premises. Our students collected the funds for old age home from teaching staff, non teaching staff and students.

World Thinking Day 2018

World Thinking Day was celebrated on February 22nd 2018 in a grand manner at Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research, Bangalore in the college premises. All the staff & students participated in the celebration.
The 2018 World Thinking Day theme was “Impact.” Making an impact means having a strong effect on something or someone.
