The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) members of ABIPER organized seminar on “PRINCIPLES OF RESEARCH PRACTICE: GRANT ACQUISITION, PUBLICATION PROCESS, AND CHALLENGES”. The seminar was focused on inspiring students and faculty in the research on their area of interest and how to grow in the same through informative presentation.
Inauguration and Welcome
The programme commenced at 11:00 AM in the Seminar Hall, ABIPER. The seminar was organised by members of IIC, who warmly welcomed the gathering and introduced about Dr. Sujeet Kumar who has extensive experience in Chemistry and research related to it. There are numerous patents, grants and publications under his name. He has received several prestigious fellowships and has collaborated with multiple laboratories on various research projects.
Presentation Session
Dr. Sujeet Kumar has delivered lecture on Principles of Research Practice: Grant Acquisition, Publication Process, and Challenges, sharing his immense knowledge and expertise to educate faculty members and students alike. He shared the knowledge with a thought “Publish to Research or Research to do Publication”. In the entire seminar he educate on Why research is important and how to find the Gap Analysis.

The session helped students and faculty to understand the importance of research and its wealthy benefits.
Q&A Session
Dr. Sujeet Kumar had Q&A session with all faculty and students who asked the questions about the APC and how to avoid mistakes in research. The students also interacted with Dr. Sujeet with the questions on SWOT or GAP analysis for starting research on which he has educate them with his knowledge and long experience in the research sector.

The Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) of ABIPER organized a Women Empowerment Programme on the occasion of Savitribai Phule Birth Anniversary. The program aimed to create awareness among students about women’s education, social justice, gender equality, and empowerment. The event focused on inspiring students through talks, presentations, videos, and art-based activities.

The programme commenced at 11:10 AM in the Seminar Hall, ABIPER. The event was compered by Mrs. Varsha Bagewadi Madam, who welcomed the gathering and introduced the theme of the programme.

Special Address by Dr. Sowjanya Battu
Dr. Sowjanya Battu, Member Secretary, Women Empowerment Cell, delivered an inspiring speech. Her address covered the following key points:

Her speech greatly motivated the students to be confident, aware, and socially responsible.
Screening of Inspirational Videos
Inspirational videos related to women empowerment and social awareness were screened from 12:10 PM to 12:32 PM. The videos encouraged students to believe in themselves and work towards equality and empowerment.
Art and Skill Exhibition
As part of the celebration, a Skill Exhibition and Best Out of Waste Exhibition were organized.
Students showcased their creativity by preparing useful and decorative items from waste materials. The exhibits highlighted innovation, environmental awareness, and practical skills. Teaching and non-teaching staff also actively participated and supported the event.
The programme emphasized the importance of women empowerment, self-reliance, and skill development, reflecting the values and vision of Savitribai Phule.
