World Heart Day is celebrated on September 29 of every year. It is aimed at drawing people’s attention to heart illness and the range of associated health issues. The day is commemorated to promote different preventative steps and changes in lifestyle to avoid any cardiovascular diseases, like heart attack, stroke, heart failure and any other condition related to the same. Cardiovascular disease is the world’s number one killer today. On average, more than 17 million people die from heart-related illnesses every year.
On occasion of World Heart Day staff and students of Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research organized a rally on September 29 with an intention to create awareness about the importance of living healthy for a healthy heart.

The theme of World heart day 2022 was “USE HEART FOR EVERY HEART”.

Each year, Teacher’s day is celebrated on the 5 ^th of September in India. Teacher’s Day is marked in honor of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was born on September 5, 1888. Dr Radhakrishnan was India’s first vice president and second president. He was a great scholar, philosopher and Bharat Ratna recipient. Since 1962 – the year he became president – India has commemorated Dr Radhakrishnan’s birth anniversary by paying tribute to its teachers and gurus on this day.

Teacher’s day was celebrated in a grand manner on 5 ^th September 2022 at Adity Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER), Bengaluru in the college premises. All the staff & students participated in the celebration. The grand function included inspiring speech by Dr. B. A. Vishwanath, Chairman Aditya Institutions, Bengaluru followed by a dazzling cultural program by the talented students of ABIPER

World Pharmacist Day is observed annually on September 25 to promote and advocate the role of the pharmacist in improving health all over the world and also to raise awareness about the importance of pharmaceutical institutes across the globe. The day highlights the role of these professionals and reminds us to pay tribute to all those pharmacists who provide selfless services with kindness and empathy, especially at the time of the pandemic. A pharmacist, also known as a chemist or druggist, is one of the medical professionals who help us obtain safe and affordable access to high-quality drugs. On occasion of World Pharmacist Day, Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER), Yelahanka, Bangalore in association with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences organized national seminars, rally and various co-curricular activities like quiz, debate, poster presentation, oral presentation, rangoli & painting competitions with an intention to create awareness on role of Pharmacist and his/her importance in public health services and motivate the students.

The theme of World Pharmacists Day is decided by the International Pharmaceutical Federation Council. This year the day will be observed under the theme “Pharmacy united in action for a healthier world”. The theme aims to showcase pharmacy’s positive impact on health around the globe and to strengthen solidarity among the profession.

Staff and Students of Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER) attended the 25^th Annual National Convention APTiCON on 2^nd to 4^th September 2022 conducted at JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru.

Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated on 8 ^th September 2022 in a grand manner at Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER),in the college premises. Management, staff & students performed the puja with great devotion.
