Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education & Research (ABIPER) actively participated in the 33rd Annual Day Celebration of Karnataka United Saurashtra Organisation (KUSO) held on Sunday, 04 January 2026, at Natakashirmani A.V. Varadachar Memorial Art Association, Bengaluru.
As part of its commitment to community health and social responsibility, ABIPER organized and conducted a Medical Camp during the celebration. The camp aimed to provide basic healthcare services, health screening, and medication counselling to the community members attending the event.
The programme was presided over by Prof. Dr. B.A. Vishwanath, Chairman, Aditya Group of Institutions, Bengaluru, and former Senate Member, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Government of Karnataka. The event was graced by Commander Giri K. Sridharan, Command Public Relations Officer, Indian Navy, as the Chief Guest, along with other distinguished Guests of Honour.
Through the medical camp, ABIPER faculty members and student volunteers offered services including general health check-ups, blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring, and awareness on disease prevention and rational use of medicines. The initiative received an encouraging response from the community and highlighted ABIPER’s dedication to promoting public health, social engagement, and service-oriented education.
