RGUHS Bengaluru North Zone Intercollegiate Volleyball Tournament was organized by   Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka, in association with R R College of Pharmacy 10^th & 11^th September 2025

In a thrilling final match, Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER), Yelahanka, Bangalore, emerged as the 1^st Runner-up of the prestigious RGUHS Bengaluru North Zone Intercollegiate Volleyball Tournament 2025-2026.

Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER), Yelahanka, Bangalore, celebrated Teachers’ Day on 7th September with great enthusiasm and respect. The program was organized by the students to honour and express gratitude towards their teachers for their invaluable guidance, support, and contribution to academic and personal growth.The celebration began with a warm welcome, followed by the lighting of the lamp to invoke wisdom and knowledge. Students presented speeches highlighting the importance of teachers in shaping the future of students and society. Various cultural activities, including songs, dances, and skits, were performed, showcasing the love and admiration students hold for their teachers.

Fun games and interactive sessions were also organized, making the event joyful and memorable. Teachers shared their experiences and expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the students in making the day special.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the dedication and hard work of the faculty members who play a vital role in nurturing young pharmacists of the future. The celebration truly reflected the spirit of Teachers’ Day by honouring the values of knowledge, respect, and guidance.

The event was conducted under the guidance of the chief patrons, Dr. B. A. Vishwanath, Chairman, Aditya Group of Institutions, Ex-Senate Member, RGUHS; Dr. Priya Vishwanath, Vice Chairperson, Aditya Group of Institutions; Dr. Shobha Rani R.H., Director, ABIPER; and Dr. Amit Kumar Das, Principal, ABIPER, with coordination by Dr. Sowjanya Battu. The resource person for the seminar was Mr. Vikrant Desai, Deputy General Manager, Hetero Healthcare Limited, who delivered an engaging and insightful lecture on the evolving trends, challenges, and opportunities in pharmaceutical marketing. He emphasized the importance of understanding market dynamics, innovation, regulatory frameworks, ethical considerations, and the growing career prospects for pharmacy graduates in this domain. The session, which commenced at 10:30 AM, was highly interactive, with active participation from students and faculty, making it both informative and impactful. The seminar proved to be a valuable learning experience, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry practices while motivating participants to explore professional opportunities in the pharmaceutical business sector. The Department of Physical Education and Sports, Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER), under the aegis of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), successfully organized the RGUHS Bengaluru North Zone Inter-Collegiate Men Basketball Tournament 2025 on 2^nd and 3^rd September 2025. The matches were held at the Aditya Indoor Stadium.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various colleges affiliated with RGUHS, showcasing their talent, team spirit, and sportsmanship on the basketball court. The tournament aimed to promote physical fitness, competitive spirit, and camaraderie among the students of health sciences institutions.

The seminar featured Brahma Kumari Sister Kalavati, Administrator from the Brahma Kumaris Maruti Nagar Centre, as the esteemed Resource Person. Drawing upon her extensive experience in spirituality and value-based education, Sister Kalavati delivered an engaging session that emphasized the importance of mutual respect, open communication, and ethical values in building a strong, supportive, and productive educational environment.
