Each year, Teacher’s day is celebrated on the 5 th of September in India. Teacher’s Day is marked in honor of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was born on September 5, 1888. Dr Radhakrishnan was India’s first vice president and second president. He was a great scholar, philosopher and Bharat Ratna recipient. Since 1962 – the year he became president – India has commemorated Dr Radhakrishnan’s birth anniversary by paying tribute to its teachers and gurus on this day.
Teacher’s day was celebrated in a grand manner on 5 th September 2019 at Adity Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER), Bengaluru in the college premises. All the staff & students participated in the celebration. The grand function included inspiring speech by Dr. B. A. Vishwanath Chairman Aditya Institutions, Bengaluru followed by a dazzling cultural program by the talented students of ABIPER.

Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER), Yelahanka.Bangalore organized guest lecture on 30stAugust 2019 by Dr. Divyashri Damacharla, Postdoctoral Fellow(Pharmaceutical Sciences),University of Texas at Austin on topic“ Identification and characterization of protein using mass spectroscopy”. Dr. Divyashri Damacharla stressed on some of the new technologies that can be employed to facilitate rapid identification and characterization of proteins, including the use of correlative approaches for protein identification, rapid posttranslational modification analysis, identification of components in complex mixtures, and direct mass analysis of gel‐separated proteins.

Guest Lecture is a way of creating awareness in students about advancements in the pharmaceutical industry, especially pertaining to technology. The students acquire an understanding about industry needs, latest technical updates, and avenues for higher education.

Lalbagh Main Gate, Hosur Road, Bengaluru, on topic“ An Overview of Nano-Carrier Characterization Techniques”.Prof. Kusum Devi elaborated on various Nano-Carriers characterization techniques such as Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS),Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) ,Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS).Adity Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER),Yelahanka.Bangalore had invited another speaker Dr. Rakesh sahay, Vice President,Troy Life Sciences,Yelahanka ,Bangalore.Dr. Rakesh Sahay had given a lecture on topic“Drug Research and Industrial Approach” by presenting complete coverage on various hyphenated techniques e.g., GCMS, LC-MS, LC-FTIR, LC-NMR, CE-MS, etc. in the context of pre-isolation analyses of crude extracts or fraction from various natural sources, isolation and on-line detection of natural products, chemotaxonomic studies, chemical fingerprinting, quality control of herbal products, dereliction of natural products, and metabolomic studies with appropriate examples.

Farewell day was organized for outgoing students on 2 nd May 2019 by Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER),Yelahanka. Farewell day was arranged in a grand manner with games, personality contest and various cultural & other activities. Senior students of our Institute were presented mementoes & gifts on behalf of ABIPER.Seniors shared their happy moments of ABIPER. Dr.B.A.Vishwanath, Chairman, Aditya Group of Institutions graced the occasion and wished the students good luck for their future.
