The Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER), Yelahanka, Bangalore, celebrated Aayudha Pooja with great devotion and enthusiasm on 29th September 2025 at the college premises. The auspicious occasion was graced by the presence of Dr. B. A. Vishwanath, Chairman, Aditya Group of Institutions, along with faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students of the institution.

The celebration began with traditional rituals and offerings, symbolizing respect and gratitude towards the instruments, tools, and knowledge that support academic and professional growth. Dr. B. A. Vishwanath performed the pooja rituals and addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of Aayudh Pooja as a festival that reinforces the values of dedication, discipline, and respect for learning.

The event witnessed active participation from students and faculty, creating an atmosphere of unity and cultural harmony. Following the rituals, prasadam was distributed among all attendees, spreading joy and festivity across the campus.

The celebration reflected ABIPER’s commitment to preserving cultural traditions while nurturing professional excellence. It served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of reverence and gratitude in both personal and professional life.

The tournament will be organized by Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, Karnataka, and will be held from October 4, 2025, to October 7, 2025, at Smt. I.S. Yadwad Govt. First Grade College, Ramdurg, Dist. Belagavi.

This achievement is a matter of great pride for our institution, and we congratulate Mr. Giridhar Gowda H V for his dedication, hard work, and sporting spirit. We wish him and the RGUHS Kabaddi team great success in the upcoming tournament.

The celebration began with the installation of Lord Ganesha’s idol, followed by traditional rituals, chanting of hymns, and offering prayers for wisdom, prosperity, and the removal of obstacles.

Students, faculty, and staff came together to participate in the pooja, creating an atmosphere of unity and cultural harmony. The event highlighted the spiritual significance of Lord Ganesha, who is revered as the symbol of knowledge and auspicious beginnings.

The celebration concluded with the aarti and distribution of prasadam, spreading joy and blessings among all attendees. The festival at ABIPER not only upheld cultural traditions but also strengthened the bond within the academic community.

Mr. Jain’s presence symbolized the seminar’s forward-looking vision. By bringing in a specialist in Business Intelligence, the program went beyond traditional scientific boundaries to highlight the strategic, commercial, and analytical dimensions of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Inter Zone Kabaddi Tournament was hosted by BLDE College of nursing, Jamkhandi on 19th and 20th September 2025. A total of 12 teams (6 zones Winners and Runners) had participated from various colleges in Karnataka participated in RGUHS, Inter Zone Kabaddi Tournament.

The program was organized by the students to honour and express gratitude towards their teachers for their invaluable guidance, support, and contribution to academic and personal growth.The celebration began with a warm welcome, followed by the lighting of the lamp to invoke wisdom and knowledge. Students presented speeches highlighting the importance of teachers in shaping the future of students and society. Various cultural activities, including songs, dances, and skits, were performed, showcasing the love and admiration students hold for their teachers.

Fun games and interactive sessions were also organized, making the event joyful and memorable. Teachers shared their experiences and expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the students in making the day special.

The event was conducted under the guidance of the chief patrons, Dr. B. A. Vishwanath, Chairman, Aditya Group of Institutions, Ex-Senate Member, RGUHS; Dr. Priya Vishwanath, Vice Chairperson, Aditya Group of Institutions; Dr. Shobha Rani R.H., Director, ABIPER; and Dr. Amit Kumar Das, Principal, ABIPER, with coordination by Dr. Sowjanya Battu. The resource person for the seminar was Mr. Vikrant Desai, Deputy General Manager, Hetero Healthcare Limited, who delivered an engaging and insightful lecture on the evolving trends, challenges, and opportunities in pharmaceutical marketing. The Department of Physical Education and Sports, Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER), under the aegis of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), successfully organized the RGUHS Bengaluru North Zone Inter-Collegiate Men Basketball Tournament 2025 on 2nd and 3rd September 2025. The matches were held at the Aditya Indoor Stadium.
