Basic Course in Education Methodology

Staff members honed their teaching skills in a Teaching Methodology workshop conducted on 29th &30th April 2019 by the Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education & Research (ABIPER), in association with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and the Association of Pharmacy Teachers of India. Dr. Chandrakala, KLE Institute of Dental Sciences, Bangalore and Dr. Agilandeswari, IKON College of Pharmacy, Bidadi were the resource persons. This constituted the Level 1 Phase 1 of the basic course in teaching methodology. Besides defining education and it’s objectives, the course also dealt with student assessment and conducting micro teaching sessions. The staff benefitted and was inspired by this exposure to modern teaching techniques. Their enthusiastic participation in the sessions was appreciated by the resource persons.
