*World Pharmacists Day 2026*
Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research ABIPER), celebrated World Pharmacists Day 2026 on 25th September 2026 with the theme “Empowering Pharmacists for Healthier Futures.” Dr. Divya B. M, Clinical Pharmacist and Deputy Coordinator of the Pharmacovigilance Cell, KVG Medical College & Hospital, served as the resource person. Dr. Divya delivered an informative session on medication safety, pharmacovigilance, and the expanding role of pharmacists in healthcare. An Awareness Rally was conducted to promote rational use of medicines and public health awareness. Competitions including Photo Exhibition, Herbarium Preparation, and Reels Making on Laboratory Safety were organized. Students enthusiastically showcased their creativity and scientific knowledge through these activities. The event highlighted the importance of pharmacists in ensuring safe and effective healthcare services. It enhanced awareness about professional responsibilities and patient safety. The program concluded successfully with a vote of thanks and appreciation to all participants and organizers.
