

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of ABIPER, Bangalore, organized an activity on “STARTUP CASE STUDIES PRESENTATION” on the occasion of National Startup Day on 08 June 2026 at 2:00 PM in the ABIPER Seminar Hall. The competition was based on to present the case studies on the ongoing startups and its culture.
Key Event Proceedings
- Inaugural Address: The Master of Ceremonies, Mrs. Priya Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, opened the session by presenting formal governance respects to the Chairman Dr. BA Vishwanath, Director Dr. Venkatesh, and Vice-Principal Dr. Sowjanya Battu. She opened the competition with a brief on startup and its culture in India.
- Participants: Five students have participated in the Startup Case Studies Presentation Competition. All of them gave the detailed presentation on different Pharma startup companies and their growing culture in market giving benefits to the public.
Evaluation Session
The evaluation panel includes Dr. Anand Teerth Deshpande, Professor & Head of Dept. of Pharmacognosy, Mrs. Deepthi Swapna Professor & Head of Dept. of Industrial Pharmacy, Mrs. Bharathi K, Associate Professor, Dept. of Pharmacology, and Dr. Arnika Das, Associate Professor & Head of Dept. of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. The evaluators have asked multiple questions from all the participants and the participants have confidently answered all the queries. Evaluators also gave the advice and uplifted participants by sharing their knowledge and experience.
Winners
Harsha Shivappa received 1st position, Lokesh L received 2nd position and Vinayaka T Muganavar received 3rd position.
Conclusion
The Startup Case Study Competition provided an excellent platform for students to explore innovative business ideas, enhance their analytical and problem-solving skills, and understand the entrepreneurial journey of successful startups. The enthusiasm, creativity, and critical thinking demonstrated by all participants truly reflected the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship. We hope that this experience inspires students to think beyond conventional boundaries and contribute meaningfully to the startup ecosystem.
