The Valedictory function was organized on 29th November 2018, Chief Guest Sri. Shankar Jyothi, Member Secretary, Board of Examining Authority, Drug control department, Bangalore, Guest of Honor Dr.Basavaraj K.Nanjwade. Principal Scientist,Troy Life Sciences, Bangalore addressed the gathering.

The theme for Pharmacist day was “PHARMACIST: YOUR MEDICINES EXPERT”. The major focus of Pharmacist day celebration was on highlighting the role and importance of pharmacist in hospitals and community. The theme for the national pharmacy week was “PHARMACIST FOR HEALTHY INDIA,” mainly focusing on creating awareness on the role of pharmacists and their importance in improving the health of public along with physician and nurses as a team in both hospital and community.
On the occasion of Valedictory function held on 29th November 2018 Chief Guest Dr. Shankar Jyothi, Member Secretary, Board of Examining Authority, Drug control department, Bangalore, addressed the gathering and in his mesmerizing speech he said that Pharmacy is one of the best courses available in India and cherished his student day memories motivated the students that language is just a communication and it is only hard work and interest which helps in making a better future and briefed the students about various hierarchy levels in central and state drugs controlling authorities and their functions. He asked the students to use the social networking site and new technologies for the benefit of the patients in a constructive manner not destructive manner.
Guest of Honor, Dr.Basavaraj K.Nanjwade.Principal Scientist,Troy Life Sciences, Bangalore appreciated the chairman, principal, staff and students for celebrating the pharmacy week with interest and enthusiasm and making it a success by creating awareness in public on how important the pharmacist role is for the community which is the sole purpose of the programme. He expressed his happiness to be a part of the programme in motivating the young budding minds to grow up as successful and good pharmacists.
