Number of Participants: Around 100, which included students of B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and Pharm.D, along with staff members from various departments.
On 20th September 2024, ABIPER organized a seminar titled “Time to Act on Dementia, Time to Act on Alzheimer’s” in observance of World Alzheimer’s Day. Dr. K. Joshi Hanumanthachar, Principal of Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, was the resource person. The seminar covered Alzheimer’s disease, early diagnosis, preventive strategies, and innovative treatments. A Q&A session followed, where students and staff engaged with Dr. K Joshi Hanumanthachar. 100 participants attended, gaining valuable insights on Alzheimer’s and dementia. The event was a successful initiative in raising awareness on this important health issue.
